In Every Detail...An Artist Lives Here

 Burlap Luxe Home

Edited surroundings continue a pale theme.
For me its a pallet that calms and inspires my art.
It allows me complete silence in all areas of creating.

 Dried Black~Eye Susan's
Natural

I find useful and beauty in the found; a European countryside design
sourced from last years dried garden bed.

 Curiosity

Placed tabletop of curiosity out of the ordinary...
Yet, inspires alongside vintage pieces naturally.

 A Jar Of Oyster Shells

 Trays Of Salvage

 Salvaged Antique French Candle Sconces

French brocante, a contrasting effect to my gathered and
collected home.

Sculpted, And Once Finished In Golden Bronze

Then painted by myself to play up the palest of greys..
Aged and distressed.
 Naked Doors

Add interest where ever they are leaned.

Door hardware and working key,
conversational.

Dear Dore,I just came here to see if you had a new blog post and "Yay" you did! So happy to see your new rose paintings featured here! I am so happy to have two of these rose art pieces added to my collection of your art in my home. They are even more beautiful in person. I love the muted tones and the texture they have which gives them a rustic and old feel. You don't see that in printed art pieces. They are truly one of a kind. I always enjoy seeing your home and the beautiful patinas of your pieces you have transformed. You know I love those candle sconces! ;)Your welcome on my reviews of your paintings! It was a pleasure because I love them!

Dore,
Beautiful rose paintings...

If only I can find a salvaged French candle sconce on my trip to Paris late Aug/early Sept.... Flea market shopping is on my list of to-do this trip with my sister. Fabric and papers are also on my list.

Doré, this is it. An artist lives there, oh yes, and this one has that french touch, because an artist knows, when it is enough. Enough to stop, not to overdo (I hope, this word does exist in English...)
Cela suffit. Absolutely. Reducing to the maximum. Stile in every detail, so thoughtful.
This is how you are. This is, for what I admire you so. Hugs from me, your friend Méa

Doré,
Oh those fantastique Rose paintings I adore. I love how strikingly different in juxtaposition they are, not an easy achievement for most. From the free spirited artistic edginess with the unexpected energy to the beautifully depicted roses of beauty you have out did yourself with these.
I especially love 12x12 painting for the flexibility of moving them around the house, leaning them on shelves or mantels. Wherever you need an instant dose of beauty. Simply beautiful mon Amie.

Vera
