  6. Doré,
A visit is always a relaxing experience. Your French rural is a peaceful environment in all your tones of neutrals. Weathered, washed whites, the softness of bare woods the additions of Grey warms the senses and invite lots of scrolling your photo essay. I met you through your etsy store back in 2012 when I made my first purchase of a beautiful White Matellassé stocking. Perfectly sewn and unique I love displaying it for the holidays. I look forward to my latest stocking purchase from you, the gorgeous Bleuish/Grey velvet French Boho one.

Your artistic expressions are much appreciated and really delight not only the eyes but the soul. Your words and photography in your French rural home is always a relaxing and inspiring visit to explore and lounge in your posts.
    Sending love,
    Vera

  18. I adore this spot in your lovely French home, Dore. The weathered raw wood of the folding chair and sweet French table are so humble on their own, but you raise them to new heights with the layers of mirrors and the tattered books! The heirloom stockings are so beautiful!!
Your blog and home are always a place to come to be inspired!!

  26. Dore,
The petite writing desk is beautiful with its curvy legs and top. The patina of the natural wood is very soothing and invites writers to sit a while and leisurely write.

  28. Hi Dore :)

Everything looks so lovely! And those Christmas stockings are gorgeous.

How sweet that your son's nickname was "rue" as a child. I used to call my son Pooh bear when he was little. He's 25 now and probably wouldn't like it as much these days ;)

Thank you for your sweet comment.
