In Agreement With French Life...Worn Tired Beauty

 Burlap Luxe Home Living
In agreement with life.

~Dore

I am working at a calmer pace, creating pieces with French linens;
it will be around August when they appear in my etsy shop.

The history of French designs lives within the spirit of why I create.
The love of fine pure and good linens inspire living with
the past.

French linens, hemp's, vintage matalasse all speak the language of
worn tired beauty; and I love creating with tattered pieces
and all.

I feel the nature of a French country cottage within me.
Creating with natural textiles relaxed, and carefree

Thank you dear sweet Vera, for creating this French silk beauty,
a friend who knows me well. Here at...

  1. Doré,
I will be first in line to see the beauty you create with your August offerings on etsy. Here I am in awe of your home and in your new posting and OMGosh the pillow I made for you appears. Thank you mon amie for inspiring me to create it. Your tranquil artististic white abode is one I adore and find myself lingering in scrolling up and down in your photos on each post. You show us how embracing the natural essence in a piece can reward our heart and home in unexpected beauty.
Sending love and appreciation for inspiring me to enter into the world of blogdom.

It's perfect in your sanctuary. I love linen and matelase, all the lovely materials sound wonderful together in a sentence. xoxo Su

Anita

  20. Oh, how I look forward to seeing what you will do with the French linens, Doré!

I am beginning a new sofa search - thinking of one with a washable slipcover w/ some squashy French pillows. But Hubby always gets a vote with anything that comes into our home, so we'll see.

    Enjoy creating, dear friend.
    xoxo,

  22. Dore, I will be so excited to see what you create with French linens! I have just been searching for some pillow covers made out of French linen and then saw this blog. That pillow your friend made you is so sweet and perfect in your home. It is so you! Did you move the rose painting to another location? I noticed it isn't where you had it leaning on that door in the corner. Just wondering. You probably move things around like I do all the time. ;) Blessings, dear friend xo
