Burlap Luxe French Potterey
Misshapen as if a French roadside potter was selling
old earthenware.
In The Studio
I am creating pottery, reclaiming time with hands pressed
to clay.
Ancient style organic French clay's fired for
everyday use.
Ancient French Surfaces,
Inspire Pottery.
The spirit and soul in creating pottery, entertains
place settings in the rustic elegance of use.
A recipe for what is valued most in
French living.
France was the first country in all
of Europe to cultivate oysters.
French seaside, Culinary kitchen art,
oysters on a half shell, my latest creative work is weaved into salvage and
cartapesta.
Soon my culinary seashell art will be
listed in my Burlap Luxe etsy shop,
I am excited to share something for
the French Nordic kitchen.

Hello Dore! As I begin my photography studio layout and prop organization project, your projects and creations ALWAYS inspire me. The colors are so calming and the naturalness of your pieces combined with their "stories" is priceless. You are a divne artist in every sense of the word.

So lovely dear Dore. It feels like I've stepped back in time and i'm in Provence! Your home and aesthetic exudes all that is the very best of French culture. Have a lovely weekend Mon Amie.
Thank you soooooo much, dear Dore, your lovely words are such a gift for me - that makes y day so much brighter! Sending love & hugs to your french castle,

Doré your organically shaped pottery, pressed by hand is intriguing in its beauty of rustic charm. I hope bowls are on your pottery list, how soothing in the palm of the hand would one of your bowls be. I look forward to seeing your seashell Cartapesta with Oysters. John and I have always wanted to stop off in Brittany and spend a month or two!!! We love Oysters and have always heard that Brittany has French oyster holy water. It's said the flavor of the Brittany oyster is absolutely divine.
Love the simplistic French spirit your stunning home has, always leaves me peaceful when I visit a post.
Xoxo,
Vera

Your creations are so beautiful and inspiring Dore. And I always love the styling in your photography. My husband gave me a French housekeeping book for Christmas. There are a few things in the book I'd like to try including a small kitchen garden.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your creations! Xo Sally
Dore, the plates you have created are very beautiful, and I love the shape and natural white, and they are gorgeous against the backdrop of your distressed dining area, which I love. I look forward to seeing what you create and combine. Yesterday, after piano we went to a rock show, that's rocks and minerals :), and someone had oyster shells. My daughter had never seen them before, and noticed that some look like they have a rainbow inside. Any way, she found it interesting, and we left with some new found rocks for her long held rock collection. xoxo Su
your pottery is so charming--just the thing to use and pass down. happy sunday to you, friend.
Another beautiful post, dear Dore. What an inspiration you are!

Hi Dore,
Always love to see what you are up to and what you create. Can't wait to see the oyster shell cartapesta art and the pottery plates are perfectly imperfect, which I love. xo
The plates are simply beautiful. Looking forward to seeing your art display.
Dear Dore, I can't wait to see what new treasure you have envisioned, and will create for us to admire! Oysters?, this will no doubt be beautifully shaped, as well as rustic, and unique! I received a beautiful Christmas card from you just Friday! The mail man must have carried it on foot..lol I know these things happen, but wanted to say, thank you very much for including me in your list! It means more than you might know, to call you my soul sister. XOXOX Much Love, Christel
Just so soft and serene and lovely. Love the oysters...to look at and to eat!

How nice that you are working with pottery lately. It's such a wonderful talent. I noticed your daughter, Hannah, on your side bar, what a beauty she is. Reminds me a bit of my Nel. She's the brunette, and my other daughter is blonde. I am loving all your treasures as well, especially that French theatre. So charming.
Have a peaceful weekend.

Dore,
The simple beauty of your pottery and pictures just leaves me feeling so...absolutely peaceful. What a wonderful retreat!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and touring western Nebraska with me. Isn't it funny how different parts of the United States (and the world, for that matter) look just like places hundreds of miles away? :-) It's a small world, no doubt!
My but you have been busy, Dore! Your pottery is so beautiful.
Oh my gosh, you're making those fabulous pottery plates!

Why else does a moth fly from the night than to a bold, attractive candle Light? Don't let His extravagant brilliance be extinguished, girl. You're creative, yes? Then fly-away with U.S to the antidote. . .
