French Country Living Autumn

 Burlap Luxe Home Autumn

I saw old Autumn in the misty
morn stand shadowless like
silence, listening to silence.
~Thomas Hood
A rustic royal holiday table will be
center pieced with a grey pumpkin
wearing one of my French wire
CROWNS.

My hand twisted French wire art can
be found in my etsy shop
Burlap Luxe etsy
on my site side-bar.

Wonderful crowns for a dinning table center
piece set atop a French-Prairie pumpkin.

A start on holiday shopping here...
Gifting a crown, or using them as a
special tree ornament or tree topper.

Hard to reach places are taking on
seasonal decor.
Gentle-soft creams perhaps and some
pale greys.

In the quiet of dimmer days French antique-
iron is given my paint treatment to
candle lit wall sconces.

A quintessential rural French bedroom is
dominated by the iron or wood bed.
Often Iron sconces draped in necklaces
of crystal, have been hung, this sconce
will take on wreathed twigs for the
holidays.

Soon my etsy shop will be filling up with holiday-
gifting and decor.
Holiday stockings in French textile have been stocked
with reduced sales.

Inspiring a season of listening.

The sconce looks so lovely with your touch of white added! They give the room a softer look and very cozy feel. You know I love the crowns you created with your hands and have a few of them in my home. They will adorn my tree at Christmas this year! Love the little fall vignette you created and I see a sweet bird hanging in that mix that caught my eye! ;)

Simply gorgeous ... Beautiful sconce with candle light softy bringing a romantic feel to Hannah's bedroom. What could be more perfect than a crowned Pumpkin! My crown you made with your twisted wire and aged with your patina technique sits on top a pumpkin here too. Just think Doré how many people you have inspired to crown pumpkins and trees.

Vera

Doré,
this bed does take my breath away as always, I see it. Your French cozy home, the decoration, the mood you create and oooh, these brushes dreaming of your delicate crowns in a love affair. This is the season - and you managed to fill up your etsy shop with divine creations.
So I think of you over there, bridging the long distance between us, so far and yet so tiny, as we share the same passion and the believe, this is the key to another world. Worlds we create.
Hugs from your friend Méa, have it cuddly-cozy :))

So calming Dore.
As I quickly jump on online I saw your new post and went straight there!
A busy week, I took on a new design client this week, grateful for the work and a timeline that is before the end of the year! Will be a challange though I'm always up for those! I hit the ground running!
So I will need some calmness in the weeks to come from my dearest bloggers like you!
A beautiful weekend is coming... enjoy!

Gail

Very beautiful... with a beautiful sense of peace. I will probably place my bird on one of my live Christmas trees, most likely the one on the porch. Love the pumpkins and the crowns... My daughter and I have been experimenting with making them from ribbon, lace, and scraps. xoxo Su
