In My Everyday White...Giving Of Thanks

Burlap Luxe Home

Yes, I do have a kitchenette, and one that most of my creations take place in.
I often paint here, and create the products that coat and cover my art pieces.
I lift my eyes to the view through the rustic shutters salvaged from an old
cedar armoire doors.

Timeless....
I will be happy with them years from now.

I love the worn damage that one may not approve of, but I find that they
charm me.

Classic French washed in greys.

I favor Greenery...
Over flowers.
Clippings from the hedges that outline nature in my front yard.

Buckets and baskets of all sorts will be filled with what nature so freely offers
in giving of thanks.

French place settings and French stainless cutlery will set a table of giving.

Linens and serving trays will be in use adding French rustic.

Baskets will be arranged and filled greeting the season.

Lighting will be dimmed.
Incase you were wondering this is the $5.00 thrift shop find that I wired with
a new $3.99 lighting cord and it was ready to hang, and now hangs
over the sink in all its rustic French charm.

Peaceful nature and giving of thanks.

Your gorgeous kitchen is such a quiet and exquisitely serene place. It is easy to see why it inspires such beauty as is displayed in your creations. Dore, I love old crocks and,of course, my eye went directly to the top of your cupboards and those two wonderful examples you have placed up there. The armoire doors placed at the window are a wonderful contrast to the sweet lacy swag. In short, I love it all! Have a perfect Sunday, dear friend.

Well Doré, at first this gorgeous sivertray caught my eye - it´s divine patina.
But then... your shop soaked in my eyes, as it always happens. This crown, these little tiny shells, WHAT an idea!, spirit on the little shield. Ahhh Doré, it was like a trigger, and BOOOMM I was sitting in this beautiful kitchen, and I saw all this preciousity (ohhh, I hope, you know what I mean, my English sometimes is not so good) in front of me. And I smiled from one ear to the other, full of admiration.
But I am the opposite of peacefulness, I am a ... I think, I have been a squirrel in my former life, I am inspired Unrest. Maybe I would drive you nuts and you would throw me out. But I think, you would just laugh along with me, me, the wuzzle, who visited you today.
So: Huuuuuugs from your friend Méa, who placed you in a calender to come. You will be with me and my friends this christmas :))

Doré I am back to delight in the peaceful beauty of your kitchen. I especially love how casually unplanned it looks and adore the different tonal hues in your signature style. Oh how the textural contast of the gorgeous basket and zinc bucket play off each other. I too like greenery and the greens with what appear to be grapes is pretty. The patina on the silver tray and the old cedar shutters such wonderful Burlap Luxe style! A room to create art and nuture oneself in preparation of food. lovely, simply lovely style.

Chère Doré! BONJOUR! I am finally here, having had yet another parent conference yesterday and this morning, a meeting to attend. But after today, my Thanksgiving week finally begins!

Thank you so much for coming to visit my post. The photo of my dining room is dark because we just have no sunshine at all right now; I prefer to show my home when there is LIGHT coming in, but you did remind me of how I do love the shadows of our French gray mood...I so hope to get some good photos taken this week as I will be home. I HOPE! Thank you for loving my home. I LOVE IT, but again, it doesn't always present the way I would like. OH WELL! Now off to school then home to work on my theatre! LOVE ! Anita
