French Kitchen and Hand-Made Wire Crowns

Photos Taken by Dore BurlapLuxe

Burlap Luxe French country kitchen where creating is known to take place.
The holidays here in our home entertain rustic French style where the pleasures of
the table will be set in rural French elegance.

The French bread-boards will be put to use.

I imagine my surroundings to be exactly what I need it to be; layers of white neutrals
that feeds my rustic soul.

I have been busy creating with my love for wire and gathered
vintage ephemera book words.

I let my free spirit imagine what I will create with salvaged wires and
a vision for what it wants to become.
Seeing is half the beauty of the end results.

I create little wire charms backed with a papering of paper mache, then
dressed with a word of meaning. On the other side of Royal the word
Queen appears.

Adding then a finish with a technique artist created where layers of old
crustiness covers it rustically; where the stained washed of whites
take on the right kind of rightness, this is when I know the piece
is completed.

You will find them listed in my etsy shop.
Along with custom orders.

Tattered and aged golden silk will embellish as well.
They are 4" 1/2 round and 2" in height
with little gem like stones on the tips aged as if time got the best of them.

My Wire Crowns can be used on your holiday tree as a tree topper or
as a meaningful tree ornament.
A perfect holiday gifting of One-Of-A-Kinds
each one uniquely created by my hands.

Looking forward to sharing the holidays with all my blog friends and
the relationships that add grace and beauty to our lives.

Hooray for a French kitchen! A relaxed French country style kitchen creates an inviting sense and a positive mood in the room. I'm pretty sure it can influence every dish that you plan to prepare here. Anyway, I do hope you'll give us a complete tour of your kitchen when the redesigning is done. :)

Dore, you must know we all savor each and every image you display here. Such vision is shared. That is beauty in its own way.

J'adore the crowns, as I cannot have enough of them. I made a few recently from crocheted trims and they are sweet!

Oh my gosh Dore... everything here is just exquisite. The bread boards piled together - the crusty chippy box, the simple sprig of dried lavender... the incredible photographs - you are an artist through and through... i went to your Etsy shop to find one of your crowns, but i didn't see any... maybe i missed them? or they are sold out? At some point I must own something you have created... no matter how small - Your theaters are my favorite thing in the world, but a crown would be wonderful too...
