Coup de Foudre...Zinc Box

All photos taken by Doré (me)...Burlap Luxe

The zinc box filled with X's and O's hit me with...
"Coup de Foudre"
   (Love at frist sight)

Kisses and Hugs rest spilt over on my daughter Hannah's chest of drawers.

Beloved French Kisses, and Hugs!

"Baisers et des Caresses"

I purchased two of them about nine years ago to then gift sentimental tenderness that says it all.

An old rustic box that hides away the mystery in why I love to salvage, and a perfect place I tuck away sweet soulful poems and love notes.

Sentimental rather than valued, this brocante box I keep displayed on a French chest in my sitting room that holds quotes of love and inspiration.

This box is one of my designs and papered with vintage ephemera book pages of love letters.
A romantic box that inspires.

"Instagramed by my daughter Hannah"

Spilt to the floor, there are no boundaries where love lies between inside and out until February reminds us of love.

For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.

It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.

~ Judy Garland

February inspires Hearts, Kisses and Hugs with a patina and tarnish of grey.

I have an affinity for anything you can store things into and/or under. Boxes, trunks and glass domes(loosely translated as cloches). Totally understand your attraction and love for those boxes.

So many pretty treasures! I love the rustic box and your vintage ephemera papered box. And the bottles in the first photo. And and and. :)
I was just this morning sorting through my little art and craft treasures - moving them to new locations to keep them safe. And I can't get them out without thinking of new ideas to create. Perhaps I will make something for Valentine's this weekend?
Sending XXXs and OOOs to you, sweet Doré!

MILLE CALINS, Anita

I will miss you all my precious friend. I am going out to California! My trip will be short, but I have to put a hold on any posting for now since I do need a mental break, in order to refocus my writing goals. I am however, enjoying MORE GRAY in my décor! I must show you a desk I redid in gray. I am loving it so! Anita
