Exposition Miss Dore Théâtre Français
du 20 au 31 Décembre
With the understudy standing by the théâtre performance of French drama, and opéra must go on.
Every French home during Christmas displays a French scène. Our French home is following tradition of French toy theatre making. Creating, and fashioning 19th century papier toy théâtre, yet ours made of salvage that beckons to become a stage of performances.
I enjoy the hunt, the thrill, the breathtaking pieces of damage that I find beauty in. Then to create an old French threatre that rustically, and hauntingly echos opera, and dance .
A salvaged antique piece of frame work forces me so willingly to be inspired to create a theatre that will perform for years to come. I wanted to create a mesmerizing, and extra ordinary avant-garde show of cabaret, and cirque du soleil. A dramatic stage for performances of holiday shows,
Where all the set designs, and props are built by the hands that create theatre soulfully.
I age it with paints, and salvage anything that inspires what I invision my theatre's to become opening night.
Wire chandeliers bent and twisted, wire ladders, and swings to perform on add to the entertaining of what I love to create for French theatre.
The stage lights are lit, and every piece crafted is in its place.
Bravo!
Notice how sweet a production seen through the strong shape of a wood box turning it into theatre shuts off everything esle, is not only an assistance to performing beauty; it is the beauty in the performance itself.
A French Noël
This bench, stool has many uses, one of a few that can be found in my etsy shop listed on my site.
The start of French theatre to become...
Theatre's emerged in the 19th century as a popular childs toy you would build from paper theatre's mirroring the grandeur of theatres of London, Paris, Vienna, Copenhagen these theatre's flurished in living room's for generations for child's play, and budding performer's.
Nearly every European country as well as the United States created its own. To find one of these rare wood or paper antique theatre's would now hold a pricey tag. I am in hopes that someday someone will find one of my théâtre français, and pass it on for another 100 years.
I added one of Penny's felted sugar plum fairy mice to a performance this year that she was so kind to make her tutu, and ballet shoes in grey for me. You can visit her blog site at... http://angelsdoor.blogspot.com
where she creates in her imagination full of beauty.
Is this little Sugar Plum fairy just the cutest performer you have ever seen.
Thank you Penny for adding to our holiday performances.
xoxo

Congratulations on your much deserved recognition! I have been busy with Tallulah, our new english bulldog. She was treated so poorly at the puppy mill that it is a tremendous amount of effort to help her to be comfortable and healthy. I cherish the opportunity to do so!

Good morning dear soul!
I had it planned that I would share photos of my home on my post! BUT...this project that I have going on in my basement is taking up all my time and I was unable to take many decent photos! MAYBE for my next post.....I just wish I could get that WHITE EFFECT that you get in your photos. No matter how much white I have in my home, my photos come out with a yellowish tint that I just cannot stand!
Anyhow, may the JOY of Christ's gift be yours always my dear. Merci for all of your friendship to me... and keep on creating the vision, EN FRANÇAIS!!! Anita
Love when you share your enchanting theatres Dore...just makes my heart smile!!
Thank you Dore for your visit and the offer.. I would love to use one or two of the photos... Maybe after the holidays I will.. How very kind of you. Bless your heart.
Penny
Doré! Oh thank you so much for coming back to give me some photography tips! I have found that the only room where I can get a pure white feel in the photos is the dining room, where I have two windows that let in a lot of light. That is where I am going to photography the wedding dress that I am almost finished with. You will love it my dear....Yes, I will open up more curtains to let in light into my studio that I love so, but just cannot get enough white showing.
Wishing you a glorious day of Christmas Eve and Christmas! BISOUS, Anita
Just gorgeous,Dore.Have a merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Your theaters are one of the most enchanting creations in all the world. I LOVE them. They are treasures and works of art that will be passed down for generations. The ladder and the chandelier are so precious, and that little mouse makes my heart melt. The lady on the swing is magical as are the soft airy curtains.
You have created an enchanted world all in itself...

Dear Dore,
Thank you so much for your most welcome visit today and your encouraging words.. The relief was sculpted with paper clay over the faux stone I created in mixed media. I too, do washes of color. I have much more work to do on her yet, but am anxious to add the color.. I have always done my reliefs in earth tones, but I may change up on this one.. I will see when I am finished.. I am humbled over your kind words.. I would just love to see your wall relief work... I am sure it is breathtaking!
I am so happy you and Hannah enjoyed the birds... I had remembered that you admired them and thought you would give them a good home.
Here is wishing you a healthy and joyful new year... Thank you so much for your kindness and inspiration.
bisous!
Penny

the theatre is really so sweet and the flying fairy is looking as if she is living. the expressions are so real and the color is white which makes it more divine.. the curtain is also a small one but awesome. it is completing the stage..
stage is just incomplete without a fully covering curtain.. i have some suggestions..
