  6. I love your kitchen. I love the basket, the small cabinet, and so on. I even like the way you placed the towel. :) I have a small cabinet that I found in a second hand shop for twenty dollars so dollars, but I have not had a chance to place. I also keep debating whether to paint my island an old white except for the butcher top. I think it might look nice, because my cabinets are a faint gray. I so look forward to the beauty you create here, and I love your etsy. xoxo Su

  8. The weathered look of your creation melts completely with your rustic french look to make your home a place of deeper feelings.
The zinc adds contrast to it, makes it noble, not just nice-nice (I hope, you understand, what I mean, it is hard for me... ).
Beautiful, oh, I wished, i could be there now for a cup of tea with you.

  11. while your kitchen is absolutely lovely, for some reason i'm especially drawn to the shutters (?) on the window. would love to learn more about what you've done in that area. in addition, your touches here and there, scattered serendipity - delights.

  14. ... and such a beautiful life it is, Doré! I look forward to all you'll share this year.

I am still feeling very weak, but hope to continue with my tiny cottage projects later in the year. Cabinets, trimwork, curtains, etc. all are waiting to be made, in soft gray & whites.

    Happy New Year, dear friend!
    xoxo,

  24. Your kitchen is so pretty, I love all the white and brightness of it! I so desperately want a white kitchen when we buy something, but not a brand new white kitchen...something older and a bit hiddly piddly:) Your open white cabinet is so beautiful also. I'm planning on taking the bottom doors off my bedroom armoire sometime so I can display pillows in it:)

    Happy New Year Dore!
