The Village Potter...A French Home

 All In The Details Of Collecting And
Creating Pottery.

 Plain and simple clay becomes my objects of desire.
 Spending time around clay creating plates I like to call
roadside pottery that feels authentic and natural to add
raw materials to my French country home.

The firing kiln temperature allows me to use them
everyday. 
 I love how they add traces of me being the village potter to
my home. Quirky and mismatched in shapes and size, 
rustic and romantic, the time-worn feeling brings
rural France to my home.

    I loved your chosen words "Quirky and Romantic", yes, yes, yes!!! Exactly why I plan to purchase a set from you. High firing insures safety, crucial for everyday use on the table. I respect how you research before just jumping into making pottery. I love the mix of rustic, refined and textural ... so this makes my appreciation for your talents ever so much greater.     It takes years of collecting to get this look. Still it inspires. I remember my mother having a collection of vintage white china and ironstone. I have a few pieces but not nearly as nice and photogenic and useful as yours.
