Pieces I Wake To

Burlap Luxe Home Kitchen

Pieces I wake-up to fill my home with patina. Rose cuttings will just lie freely.

Flowers in the home do not always have to share a vase of water, yet ones that lie
add gatherings that inspire.

A beautiful old galvanized funnel

Tucked away wire baskets and buckets of galvanize.
Good and Pure

A French spot in my front room whispers to me daily with the light of day.

Touches of old add grace and beauty to each room.

Cages imagine a song from the wild.

A friend knew the top of a garden stake would charm when she gifted this piece to me. Patina filled chair with garden French fare.

bisous

    BISOUS BISOUS MA BELLE! Anita

  35. Beautiful, beautiful, just beautiful...!

But I have to be really honest here......

I had JUST read the lovely (and funny) comment you left me about you staying up till 5AM this morning on a creative frenzy (so much like I do) and so I had to click on over here for a visit, and what do I see????

Your post that is titled: "Pieces that I Wake to..."

And when I read the word "Wake" I laughed and thought, WAKE? WAKE? When does the lovely creative being ever sleep so she can actually wake up??? So I had myself a laugh at the timing of it all....

I love you more and more as time goes by and I realize that you and I would just be in a constant frenzy with ideas, painting, hunting, creating, and would probably put each other into an early grave by wearing each other out with excitement! But, on the other hand....we would probably insist on faux finishing our coffins, distressing them just so with pale gray, and lining them with linen before we kicked the proverbial beautiful zinc bucket lol.

    Lots of love
    Elizabeth

  36. My beautiful (and crazy creative) sis,

I know you are busy, no need to reply, but your comment made me laugh so much....darn you...I have that song stuck in my head now as I start cooking ...but it makes me laugh all the same.

God has been good to us and just wanted to say that I too, think there just isn't enough time in a day to do all that I wish to do...I have never, ever understood the word "bored." I have never experienced it, so I can't relate to it. To be honest, I think I really only try to eat healthy, just so I can stay around a little longer, so I can try/learn/do/experience all that I want to....

Big hugs to you and like you say, through Him, The Greatest Creator of All,
    E
