I Know Why The Gaged Bird Sings

Ultimately we know deeply that the other side of every fear is a freedom.

Happy Independence Day !

  5. My dear, dear Doré!!!!

What a beautiful post. The quotes are so needed for many of us, aren't they? Freedom at so many levels is always something that we seek and need in order to be who we really are and contribute what were were meant to give. THANK YOU MY DEAR! And have a pleasant day today with those whom you love.

    GROSSES BISES! Anita

  6. Oh Doré,

I am very excited my dear, to get that studio just like I want it! Well, that fabulous painted chair on my post is MY DREAM, and the lovely settee and chair that I currently have will not be getting a paint job for the settee is quite expensive and new and the chair also....my darling husband is letting me paint the doors and other woodwork in my gray, but he winced a bit when I first told him! BUT, we are going to get that look NO MATTER WHAT with the other lovely touches.

Thank you for your enthusiasm my dearest....you mean a lot to me! LOVE! Anita

  14. I am busy reading your entire blog. I have questions, oooos and ahhhhhs. I am enjoying the peace your pictures and projects are giving me.

I have recently gone through a horrendous, humiliating, ruining, destructive divorce.

In the midst of the insanity, my teacher gave me a handmade little coaster inscribed with "On the other side of fear, you will always find freedom." It was the life line that has gotten me through the blackest nights in the deepest holes.

I'm coming out and finding my life again, but imagine my surprise and pleasure to read this one line here on this blog.

Let me quote a little girl on an AT&T commercial: "I want more! I want more!" of your blog and peaceful creations.

    Thank you,
    Christine
