Salvaging Time With Creating It

Burlap Luxe Home... 2014

Burlap Luxe is bringing in the New Year, and leaving the Old Year lost to all.

Time brings all things to pass, a minute in time.

I am altering time, creating with salvage parts from old clock boxes
where I take the old and create.

It is a beautiful reminder in stopping time.

How time flies, 2013-2014

Packing up last year, and making room for this year.
Inspiring a guest to every heart's desire in all its newness.

Bonjour mon amie!

Time is invisible, but yet so strong of a force that we can't control. All we can do is LIVE in it to the best of our abilities, n'est-ce pas? I love your creations, SO LOVELY! May the time you do have be spent in blissful creativity and muses. Thank you so much for another year of inspiration, and maybe one day we will meet in California! Anita

How lovely, Dore! This is a reminder that the New Year and how it passes depends much on what we do with the precious time we are given. I hope to keep this in mind as the year moves along. Thanks for the sweet reminder!

Dear Dore, I was instantly smiling when I saw you had posted. I too am welcoming 2014 with renewed passion. The clocks are fabulous! To me they represent a past not forgotten. As we begin anew in 2014 remembering a different time, and place, brings purpose, helps create beauty again, to something most would think no longer has reverence, or use.... and stopped time resumes. A new life begins from old. Your ability to create such soulful pieces amazes me. I can't wait to see what you create throughout the upcoming year! xoxox Christel
