" Burlap Luxe Flatware by Lenox"
I just love the French-ness of this flatware, and the charm of the fleur de lis at the ends.
Elegant with European rustic charm to it's relaxed timeless appeal.
"I love them tarnished"
Beautiful flatware, glassware, pottery and linens set to style with a distressed dusting of whites.
English sterling serving spoons add the right kind of rightness when it comes to entertaining
guest with European flea market style.
I was gifted the sterling silver serving spoons passed down to me from family, and they are treasured.
( Thank you M.H )
I find the most important things in my home are relaxed that suggest a casual restful feel like wrinkled linen lap napkins, a detail to a soulful rustic setting that nothing is meant to be that perfect...
(Except for the whipped cream)
Living and entertaining with whites, whitens the greyer days of winter.
Endless beauty, gorgeous inspiration you my dear are a pure vision of loveliness xoxox
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and your heart always

GROSSES BISES! Anita

I will be carrying your words around with it.....ahhhhhhh
Beautiful repose for any time of the year or day. Your photography is lovely with your new camera. I don't think I will ever have the money to invest in one. But I am happy with my canon power shot. It's simple and I can manage simple.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful Dore!! I have a collection of vintage silver that I've picked up here and there over the years, but how special it is to have some passed down to you!

ReplyDeleteEt comme j'adore ce billet, plein de gris, d'argent, de blanc. Ma chère amie, merci d'être venue sans mot dire; ça me convient très bien car le coeur n'a pas de paroles, mais des actions qui parlent plus fort.

ReplyDeleteI just love vintage silver pieces.
You are so fortunate to have those gorgeous family treasures.
Fresh white linens are so versatile, at once elegant and comforting. A white cloud on a gray day.

Wonderful and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
So inviting Dore :) I have both my mom's and my grandmother's old silver. Treasured items. A beautiful post!

There IS such beauty in the simplest pieces:) Sometimes designers take the simple, soft, "come sit here" feel out of a room by making it too precise and new looking. Your flatware is gorgeous and looks lovely against the white. I agree about the relaxed feel of a home:) ..except for whipped cream!

Good evening dear Dore,
ReplyDeleteEven with the simplest items you create such beauty.. Your flatware is lovely.
